** PRAHA STOVĚŽATÁ **

 

That last appellation, Prague City of A Hundred Spires should really be rephrased City of A Thousand Spires, Towers and Turrets.

 

I have been to Prague only once - a fabulous three-week sojourn including trips to other cities/towns in the Czech Republic - and have grown very fond of Prague and the other places.

 

Living 6,000 miles away (by air) and not having any measure of wealth, regular visits to Prague are out of the question. Thus, from now until the next visit, who knows when, I am a long-distance armchair traveller in the city.
